This book is a brief but solid introduction to Hill’s life, conversion, and ministry. Rowland Hill is presented in the book as the man he was – with strengths and weakness and, who like all Christians, felt the convictions of sin in his soul.But yet despite that, his love and zeal for the Lord’s book is clearly portrayed in the book. The author has carefully added appropriate anecdotes, giving the reader an inner glimpse into Rowland Hill’s heart and life.

This book would be very suitable for anyone – young and old – wishing to know more about Hill. Due to its readability, it would also make a good book to read together as a family. Highly recommend!
