Collections of undated devotions on a Biblical book are valuable resources. They can be used at anytime, andcan help you dig deeper into a text that you may be studying in a sermon series or Bible study group. It is a great encouragement that 10Publishing has committed to producing this series of guides.

This particular book, which examines Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, is rigorous and detailed. There is much to be gained from a focused study of this letter, and Mallard certainly draws out the relevant significance and application to each day’s passage. In fact, each day reads more like a mini sermon than a Bible study, and in some ways the book feels like a commentary on Ephesians that has been divided into 34 chapters, rather than a set of devotions. Some may find this style of writing less accessible, whilst others will relish it. Either way, this is a faithful look at an important Biblical book.
