This book, written by a retired pastor, is part of the People in the Bible series. Caleb was one of the two spies who wanted the Israelites to enter the Promised Land even although there were difficulties in doing so. Forty years later, when he was an old man, he did enter it and, despite his age, revealed that his faith in God was still strong. His confidence in God was shown in his desire to obtain all the territory that he could once he reached Canaan. Like many others in the Bible, the recorded details in the life of Caleb have important lessons to teach us about the life of faith. Robert Dale takes readers through the life of Caleb in a consecutive order and applies to contemporary life the expressions of faith mentioned in connection to this faithful believer. The style is easy to read and is written in a devotional manner.
