This is one of the best family books that I have seen recently. It is well written, with inspiring messages and a well organised process that takes the reading family through nine meals in Luke’s gospel. By the time the family reach the end they will have had a panoramic overview of the life of Jesus in 34 days. Each day follows the same format which is a very healthy discipline for a family. What is most stimulating about each day are the questions for every age group, particularly those questions for the youngest ages of 3-4 year old’s. This is the most difficult age group to ask questions of and yet each question just speaks into the mind of these preschoolers.

There is active participation and current language which makes this journey particularly relevant to the whole family in the 21st century.
