In seven short summaries, this little, hardboard book introduces very young children to key points in the life of Jesus, with a focus on God’s relationship to Him as ‘The Best Father’. While the book opens with an image of Mary and Joseph journeying to Bethlehem, and the adult Jesus is also depicted in one scene, there are other illustrations of contemporary children at school and play. By including a simple question at the end of each narrated point, the author has also given parents prompts to help their children connect the reading with their own developing experience of life.
