Thankfully, greater attention of late has been paid to the doctrine of union with Christ and this excellent book by Kenneth Berding is a very welcome addition to recent publications on the topic. How to Live an ‘In Christ’ Life is an inspiring collection of 100 devotional readings on union with Christ where each chapter consistently applies this wonderful truth to the Christian’s daily walk with the Lord Jesus.

The carefully crafted devotions include pertinent Scriptural passages, a practical illustration from the author’s wide Christian experience or the testimony of others, an exploration of the Scriptural truths arising from the verses and lessons to motivate the reader to live the ‘In Christ’ life more readily. There is also an appendix containing questions to review the content of each chapter. This is a really valuable book which I have thoroughly enjoyed and greatly benefited from. It has been uplifting to explore how one of the great Christian doctrines can be unpacked so skilfully and meaningfully in a way that can elicit praise, love, prayer and obedience to our Lord from the reader.
