When you arrive at civilization what would you think of today’s church? Chan’s assertion is that the church, and its relationship with the Holy Spirit, does not align with what we see in scripture. Covering our need for the Spirit, our motivation to know Him, our relationship with Him, and how we can know His leading in our lives, this book is a very helpful call to reverse what Chan sees as our “tragic neglect of the Holy Spirit”.
