Sam Allberry, church minister and prolific author, initially thought pretty much what a lot of us think – God is Trinity, but it makes virtually no difference to our Christian lives. By contrast, Allberry goes on to explain the significance of the fact that 'the Son is never demeaned by the Father’s headship. He is not inferior because he submits to the Father.’ They delight in their love. The Father and Son have always had these roles. This book is a short, often amusing and easy read which I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about ‘Living in the Light of the Trinity’. I think the main reason we can’t understand how the Trinity works is because we do not understand perfect love. Perhaps the simplicity of this book will help unravel some of the misconceptions we hold.
